I attended an event in LC Izmir named Boostcamp 3.0. The journey of this event started on November when I applied for Boostcamp and I was really stressed as I didn’t know what I was going to face there. After a couple of weeks the trainers and the organising committee of the event started contacting us and I realised that this is actually happening, so i said to myself let’s go and have fun!!! The first participants that I met were at the airport of Athens, where I saw a vibe very different of all the other trips. In no time we were in Izmir, playing ice breaking games with all the other participants from all over Europe. Everyone had a unique story to tell, a different personality the trainers, the OC and last but not least the participants, that I was more than thrilled to meet. At the end of the event I had created some amazing friends with some of which I am still in touch until today. I would like to mention that not only the people were amazing but the content too. Boostcamp is an operational event organized by trainers, so the things that I learnt there helped me in my everyday life. Some of the most helpful sessions were Self-Management, Problem Solving/ Change Management, Project Management and Strategic Thinking & Planning. Moreover, I learnt Turkish traditions and I loved the hospitality of LC Izmir. I suggest you, without second thoughts, to go and experience an EESTEC event.
